Experiencing Anna withdrawal?

My husband Dan is a regular blogger. If you haven't already, I strongly recommend you check my "Transfers" section for a link to his musings... Initially I teased him about creating a blog as I was concerned it was too 'pop culture' and therefore cliche. But I watched. I observed. I read. I slowly began to notice my opinion of the blogging-world change for the good. Dan is a real example to me. Although life is busy for him he always seems to find time to post a goodie or two to his blog. Yes, I'm inspired. And yet, self-admittedly, I was still apprehensive about creating a blog. It's those little promptings I have been getting that really got me excited about this new venture. I have been recently bumping into friends and when asked what's new in their lives they say they have started blogs and I can read to get caught up... It seems everyone is doing it! Although peer-pressure is not a good reason to do anything, I'm not going to lie that it seemed to really motivate me.

Once I knew I wanted one there seemed to be a few roadblocks inhibiting action. I wasn't sure how to create a site and I didn't want to spend the time trying to figure it out. But alas! It hasn't been too hard... My blogging husband has helped me along and here I am.

Secondly, I questioned what I would write about. What on earth will I have to say? But in anything I do I like to tell stories and get to the nitty gritty about my life. So things will come... perhaps randomly, but they will still come.

The next dilemma was when will I find the time to post? As a full-time employee at a Financial Institution (yes: terms, mutuals, and RRSP's excite me!) and a part-time student at a Post-Secondary school time is always of the essence. But again, although my blogging deposits may be random they will still come.

So sit back and enjoy what flows from my steel trap.

I can't wait for some of the nitty gritty! They are my favorite!

The 'Z' household will delightedly receive and transfer all of the 'random deposits' into our memory banks that you wish to bestow upon your new blog, from which flows the hidden treasures from within the vault of your soul.

Love from the Z clan

I unfortunately must agree, blogging is 'pop culture' and therefore cliche, but alas, I caved to the pressure long ago and now I'm one big cliché with the rest of them. Will be looking for some insightful grains of Anna-wisdom to come. I, on the other hand, haven't been so creative, but instead have put mainly pictures and very few thoughts on our blog. I guess that's because I usually do my blogging at this time of night... I don't think anyone would care to hear the thoughts that go through my head during these hours. ;-)

Hey Anna

Thanks for being my friend.

I just started my blog a few days ago too.

Not my first one ever but first time with Blogspot.

Hope you have fun with it.

I know it's been very healing and relieving for me so far.

Have a great day.
